Overview

Smöl Ëno̠ Qeqüe Vrët was founded durring the early 11th century, by Chi̊ Igegri. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Smöl Ëno̠ Qeqüe Vrët was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the early 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Smöl Ëno̠ Qeqüe Vrët is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Smöl Ëno̠ Qeqüe Vrët is is constructed arround a series of crampt baked earthen mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town posesses a fortified albit thin wall of querried stone. This wall posesses most of the features of a castle wall, though it is constructed from cheeper inferior stone. It would pose a minor chalange for an attacking army, though it's clear the wall's true purpose is to crush the hopes of bandits and marauders. Smöl Ëno̠ Qeqüe Vrët's failry decent fortifications are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

A look around Smöl Ëno̠ Qeqüe Vrët has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s everything together. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Smöl Ëno̠ Qeqüe Vrët long.

Cultural Notes

The locals are in a state of despair and dull apathy. They've lost the things that used to give them pride and hope, with the best among them carrying on out of habitual duty and the worst giving ready hands to shameful deeds and ignoble acts. No one really believes the future can be better, and most seek only to satisfy immediate appetites.

Smöl Ëno̠ Qeqüe Vrët's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used embraces individualism and experimentation. It emerged as a movement against traditional, classical styles and sought to make buildings dynamic and fun while breaking the rules. The style incorporated elements of previous architectural styles in exaggerated and whimsical ways. Traditional, conservative leanings were void in this era, with most scholars of architecture agreeing it was a time of “anything goes.”.

Due to the actions of local Kami, summer is recurring in Smöl Ëno̠ Qeqüe Vrët.

The Vukodlak near Smöl Ëno̠ Qeqüe Vrët are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Smöl Ëno̠ Qeqüe Vrët's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves sacrificing an animal to channel Necromancy energies of tier 2 via oath swearing.
